Transform your flash photography with the Rogue Flash Snoot — a versatile light-shaping tool that channels your flash into a precise, dramatic spotlight. Made from flexible silicone, the snoot collapses effortlessly to a slim 1.5" profile for storage and opens into 4 distinct positions — from collapsed to fully extended — each casting a different spot size so you can fine-tune your light precisely. It mounts securely to the Rogue Flash Gel Lens at its base and can be detached in seconds (if desired).

Stacking Magnetic Light Modifier System Attaches Directly to Round Flashes:
You don't need an extra mount to use the Rogue Flash Snoot because it attaches directly to your round flash. The Rogue Flash Sboot is one component of the modular Rogue Round Flash Magnetic Light Modifier System for camera flashes.

It's a Snap Using Gels with the Rogue Flash Snoot:  To use gels you'll need any two stackable Rogue magnetic round flash light modifiers.  For example, snap a Rogue Flash Gel Lens to your round flash, place a Rogue Glacier Lake Blue Gel on the Gel Lens, then snap the Rogue Flash Snoot to the top of the Gel Lens. That's it!  Everything clicks together quickly and securely.

Why use a diffusion gel with a snoot?  A snoot placed over an unmodified light source projects a spot that mirrors the shape of that light source. With a speedlight, the light source is a linear flash tube, and the Fresnel lens does little to alter that linear shape. The result is an elongated, rectangular spot rather than the clean, circular spot most photographers are looking for. Inserting one of the included Rogue round diffusion gels into the snoot transforms the projected spot into a circle with smoother, more even light distribution.

Compact and Lightweight:  There’s no need to weigh yourself down with unnecessarily bulky and heavy light modifiers. The Rogue Flash Snoot weighs just 2.8oz (80g) and measures 3.5” wide x 1.5” tall (87x37mm) when collapsed. The black silicone snoot collapses for easy storage, and it can be quickly detached (if desired) from the Rogue Flash Gel Lens in its base.

Our Magnets Won't Fall Out:  Unlike other magnetic light modifiers, the Rogue Gel Lens features a unique design that securely locks rare earth neodymium magnets inside its outer ring — so they'll never work loose. The Gel Lens itself is molded from high-impact polycarbonate, an extremely durable material that resists chipping and cracking even with heavy use.

Rectangular Flash Compatibility: 

The Rogue Flash Diffuser Dome can also be used with rectangular speedlight flashes when combined with the Rogue Flash Adapter Standard or Small. Sold separately.

The Rogue Flash Adapter Standard v2 (sold separately) fits almost all professional size rectangular speedlight flashes.  It does not fit the Canon EL1 which is too large.
